If you ever get to visit New Hampshire ....

Well isn't he cute?

Meet Wolf Man ... He works at Clark's Trading Post in Lincoln, NH and has been doing his little skit for years now. I remember when the older girls were little and would cry and try to hide whenever we took that train ride.

The story goes that WolfMan is protecting his great mining find called "Unobtanium" and he thinks that the people on the Clark's train is coming to his mine to steal his wealth... He's also looking for a wife... Lucky girl, huh? I guess he hasn't found the right woman yet though, so he'll just keep on trying ...

So WolfMan chases the train from the covered bridge almost all the way to the highway bridge that the train stops and turns around at. He drives in this car

waving his sword and shooting his cap gun trying to scare us away... No worries, WolfMan is afraid of water so never crosses the bridge or gets too close to it...

I tried to fix my sister D up with him, but she wouldn't have it... She said he was a little too much of a player for her...

If you ever get the chance, give Clark's a visit, take the train ride - there's bumper boats where you are sure to get WET, a few side shows (Merlin's Mystical Mansion; The Rustic House of the Tuttle Family where everything is crooked; Lots and lots of antique fire engines, trains and the like)... Must not forget the bears .. The girls and I used to love going there on Memorial Day, right after it opened, to see if there were any new babies born over the winter- one year there were twins born and they were soooo cute! The bear show is hilarious with bears playing basketball - or bearsketball- as they bears like to call it, riding a skooter, swinging on a big ol bear swing and raising the American flag... It's really amazing how cuddly these big ol bears appear to be and how cool that these bears do anything you want them to do for a few dabs of ice cream...

I sound like a commercial, don't I? I've been going here for years and years and it's a great place to visit for half a day or so... Check it out...
